MercyFirst a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, inspires hope and promotes healing for children and families by providing quality human services and educational opportunities while advocating for social change.

As a community of care, MercyFirst honors the spirit of our Founders and Sponsors - the Sisters of Mercy - by carrying out our Mission and being faithful to six Core Values in the work we do every day with our children and families, and with each other.
Our Values
MercyFirst demonstrates the following six core

We provide a welcoming, open, safe, and sensitive
environment for those we serve and with whom we work.

We empathize with the suffering of others and actively
work to alleviate it as if it were our own.
