Family Foster Care

Foster families provided loving, nurturing, temporary homes for children who
were unable to reside with their biological family because of serious allegations of
abuse and neglect. MercyFirst works to reunite children with their families and create new families through adoption.

Treatment Family Foster Care

What is Treatment Family Foster Care?

Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC) is a specialized program for children requiring more intensive levels of care. The specialized foster parents in these homes are called Teaching Parents. Teaching Parents works as part of the agency treatment team with adolescents needing extra guidance and support.
