Residential Programs

MercyFirst provides a wide array of treatment and support services to children and adolescents who require residential care either in our community-based group homes, mother-child residences or on our Syosset Campus where we provide residential treatment services.

The program assists teen mothers in foster care, as well as pregnant teens who are close to giving birth, to cope with their own emotional issues, while learning to parent effectively.

In addition to the various evidence-based services that are provided in all our programs, Caseworkers in every program provide permanency planning in coordination with the Local Social Services District and Family Court.  Solution Based Casework (SBC) is MercyFirst’s Evidence-based case management model of practice.
